Analisis Kesulitan Belajar Matematika berbasis Pembelajaran Daring Di Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Kota Solok

Online learning that is carried out makes students experience difficulties in understanding mathematics to the fullest so that students lack interest and activeness in learning. The independent learning culture that students have in learning mathematics is still low. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors of students' learning difficulties in understanding online learning-based mathematics lessons. This type of research is a semi-qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive research method. The population in this study were all class VIII students for the 2021/2022 school year who are now in class IX for the 2022/2023 school year of SMP Negeri 2 Kota Solok with a total population of 372 students. The sample in this study were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 2 City of Solok, numbering 193 people. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires and documentation. The analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the factors that influence learning difficulties are 1) decreased interest in learning mathematics through online learning with a percentage of 66.32%; 2) internet quota difficulties with a percentage of 41.96%; 3) network constraints with a percentage of 58.03%.
