Abstract

The purposed of this research were to know and describe about student’s ability mathemathical draft in studies about mathematichs logical who by learning model problem based instruction taught better than learning model convensional on STKIP YPM Bangko. This research used quantitatif approachment with experiment method. The sample was token by probability technique sampling with random sampling. The sample consist by two classes, they where class A in fourth semester as a control class and class B fourth semester as a experiment class. Technique of data collection used essay. Technique of data analysis used Uji-U (Uji Mann-Whitney) and the calculated helped by IBM SPSS. The result of data analysis showed probability value (P-value/sig) as big as 0,046. If it being compared real standard ? as big as 0,05, then can concluded H0 rejected because probability value (P-value/sig) ? ? or 0,046 ? 0,05. It means significance as student’s ability mathematical draft in studies about mathematics logical who taught by learning model problem based instruction better than learning model covensional on STKIP YPM Bangko.
