The purpose of this research is to develop a valid pocket book on set material. This research is a development research using the Plomp development model. The subjects of this study were 6 validators, one of the validators was educators at SMP Negeri 4 Kota Solok and 5 from UMMY lecturers who were suitable in their respective fields of validation. The collected data were analyzed descriptively. The results of validation by material experts obtained an average of 86.66% with a very valid category, the results of validation by linguists obtained an average of 88.00% with a very valid category and the results of validation by media experts obtained an average of 80.00% with very valid category. The validity of the Pocket Book produced both from the aspects of content / material, presentation and language reached very valid criteria up to the criteria of 86.00%. The conclusion in this study is to produce a valid pocket book using the Problem Solving Learning Model on Class VIISMP 4 Class Assemblies in Kota Solok.
