Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is how to increase the ability of teachers to use media in learning mathematics at SD Negeri 01 Koto Tangah Simalanggang through academic supervision for the 2018/2019 academic year? The purpose of this research is to find out how to increase the ability of teachers to use media in learning mathematics at SD Negeri 01 Koto Tangah Simalanggang through academic supervision for the 2018/2019 academic year. This research is a School Action Research, which consists of two cycles. Each cycle consists of stages of planning, implementing action, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were 10 class teachers at the UPTD SD Negeri 01 Koto Baru Simalanggang. This research was carried out in semester 1 of the 2020/2021 school year. The results of the first cycle research showed that the percentage of the teacher's ability to use media in mathematics learning was 71%, and in the second cycle it was 88%. The conclusion in this study is that there is an increase in the ability of teachers to use media in learning mathematics at SD Negeri 01 Koto Tangah Simalanggang through Academic Supervision for the 2018/2019 academic year.
