PENERAPAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN AKTIF TIPE TRADING PLACES MENGGUNAKAN HANDOUT TERHADAP AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 3 KOTA SOLOK

The purpose of this study was to determine the activities and results of student learning mathematics using the active learning strategy type trading places using handouts better than the activities and learning outcomes of students with active learning strategies trading places type without using handouts in class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Kota Solok. This type of research is a quasi experimental research. The population in this study were all grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Kota Solok who were registered in the 2015/2016 academic year. The sampling technique was cluster random sampling after the population normality test was carried out, the population homogeneity test was carried out using the Bartlet test. The selected class was class VIII1 as the experimental class with 26 students and class VIII6 as the control class with 25 students. The data analysis technique used is the two-mean difference test, namely the t test. Based on the calculation, it is obtained that t = 1.90 and t (0.95: 49) = 1.676, this means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It can be concluded that the mathematics learning outcomes of students who use the active learning strategy type trading places using handouts are better than learning outcomes without using handouts in SMP 3 Negeri Solok City.
