STUDI PENERAPAN HANDOUT DALAM PEMBELAJARAN AKTIF TIPE ROTATING TRIO EXCHANGE TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS X SMK NEGERI 4 SIJUNJUNG

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is "Are the mathematics learning outcomes of students who implement an active learning strategy of the RTE type accompanied by better handouts than the mathematics learning outcomes of students using the RTE strategy without Handouts in Class X of SMK Negeri 4 Sijunjung?". This study aims to determine differences in student learning outcomes using RTE accompanied by Handouts with RTE without Handoutscount. The hypothesis in this study is the results of students learning mathematics that apply active learning strategies with the type of RTE accompanied Handout is better than the results of students learning mathematics using the RTE Strategy without Handouts. This type of research is a Quasi Experiment. The population in this study was class X students of SMK Negeri 4 Sijunjung in the 2015/2016 Academic Year consisting of 5 classes. The sampling technique is Cluster Random Sampling selected as the experimental class is the Accounting class I and the control class is Office Administration I. The data technique tested is the difference test of two averages namely t test. Based on the calculation, tcount = 2.63 and ttable = 1.68 so tcount > ttable at a 95% confidence level means that H0 is rejected. It can be concluded that: Student mathematics learning outcomes that apply Active Learning Strategies with RTE type accompanied by Handouts are better than students learning mathematics outcomes using RTE Strategies without Handouts in Class X of SMK Negeri 4 Sijunjung 2015/2016 Academic Year.
