UPAYA MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MELALUI STRATEGI TEAM GAME TURNAMENT PADA MATA PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA DENGAN MATERI OPERASI BILANGAN BULAT DI KELAS IV SD NEGERI 02 TANJUANG BALIK KECAMATAN PANGKALAN

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students in integer operation material before using the Team Game Tournament strategy at SD Negeri 02 Tanjuang Balik, Pangkalan Koto Baru District. This research uses a CAR research (Class Action Research), which is carried out in 2 cycles, consisting of four stages namely; planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were 11 students in Class IV of SD Negeri 02 Tanjuang Balik, Pangkalan Koto Baru District. With the KKM conclusion that is 75. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that: (1) learning outcomes before the action gets an average value of 47.27 with a percentage of 100% incomplete (2) student learning outcomes after the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model is applied ) in cycle I the average value was 76.36 and students completed 54.55% or 6 students (3) the results of learning cycle II the average value increased to 89.09 and students who completed 100% or 11 students . Thus it can be concluded that the learning strategy of Team Games Tournament (TGT) can improve student learning outcomes in Mathematics with the fourth grade operation material in SD Negeri 02 Tanjuang Balik, Pangkalan Koto Baru District.
