PENERAPAN HAND OUT PADA METODE PEMBELAJARAN RESITASI TERHADAP MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS IX SMPN 3 X KOTO SINGKARAK

Abstract

The focus of this research is to find the motivation and student learning outcomes using a Hand-Out on learning recitation better than motivation and learning outcomes of students mathematics without using Hand-Out in class IX SMPN 3 X Koto Singkarak. This research is a quasi experimental research with the study design Randomized Control Group Only Design. The sampling is interpretation of conducted by Cluster Random Sampling. The population in this study were students of class IX SMPN 3 X Koto Singkarak in the academic year 2015/2016. The sample in this study is IXb class as a class experiment with 23 students within and IXc class as a class controls with 22 students within. The data analysis technique used is the equation of the two averages t test. From the calculation, thitung  = 1.94 and ttable = 1.67 indicates that thitung > ttable hypothesis H1 is accepted at 95% credibility level. Calculation of motivation to learn is obtained a total score tabulation of experimental class = 97.92 and control class = 79.31. The conclucion is that the motivation and learning outcomes of students who use a Hand-Out on learning recitation better that motivation and student learning outcomes without the use Hand-Out on the class IX SMPN 3 X Koto Singkarak in the academic year 2015/2016.
