PENGGUNAAN LKS DALAM PROBLEM BASE LEARNING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VII SMPN 38 SIJUNJUNG

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low value of the mathematical problem solving student at SMPN 38 Sijunjung, seen from the percentage of NEM math class VII SMPN 38 Sijunjung still below the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) is 75. The work done is by the use of LKS in PBL against mathematical problem solving ability of students of class VII SMPN 38 Sijunjung. This study aims to, knowing the mathematical problem solving abilities of students with the use of worksheets in PBL is better than the use of PBL without LKS. This study is a quasi experimental study with a randomized control group study design only design. The study population was all students of class VII SMPN 38 Sijunjung with sampling techniques Cluster Random Sampling and sample chosen is VII.1 grade students as a class experiment with the number of students 26 and VII.2 class as a class controls the number of students 26 people. Calculation obtained t = 1.83 and table = 1.68, so tcount > ttable then the decision is accepted hypothesis in the sense that the mathematical problem solving ability of students with the use of worksheets in PBL is better than the use of PBL without worksheets in class VII SMPN 38 Sijunjung.
