POLA KESALAHAN DALAM OPERASI PENJUMLAHAN PECAHAN CAMPURAN: STUDI KASUS PADA SISWA PRIVAT KELAS V SD
Mathematical concepts are the basis for studying every mathematical material. Most students assume that if an answer is correct then it has understood the concept, but when further examined the answer is not necessarily in accordance with the existing concept. Therefore, further study of student's error pattern is required. In this research the error pattern to be analyzed is error pattern in the operation of addition of mixed fractions. This research is to know (1) Pattern of mistake of mixed fractional operation on private student of class V SD, (2) Factor of mistake in mixed fraction addition operation on private student of class V SD. This research is case study or case study with data collection method through document analysis, ie student exercise answer sheet and interview. Based on the result of data analysis, it can be concluded that (1) The pattern of errors in the operation of the sum of mixed fractions on private students of grade V SD is: (a) Errors due to carelessness or lack of care; (b) Mistakes of process skills; and (c) Error in understanding the problem; (2) The factors causing errors in the operation of the sum of the fractional blends on the private students of grade V SD are (a) Lack of understanding of the basic concept of multiplication, division, and addition; and (b) lack of mastery of prerequisite skills on fractions, ie KPK.
