Minangkabau Language Variations Dialect of the Sijunjung District Community with the Dialect of the Pesisir Selatan Community in West Sumatra. The research is motivated by differences in dialects between regions. The purpose of this research is to describe the variations of the Minangkabau dialect in terms of phonemic-based phonology. The dialect studied is the Dialect of the Sijunjung District Community with the Dialect of the Pesisir Selatan Community in West Sumatra. This type of qualitative research with descriptive method. The object of research is the community of Sijunjung Regency and Pesisir Selatan Regency, West Sumatra. Research data were collected by interview techniques and recording. After the data was collected, it was analyzed using the intra-lingual matching method. The results of the study show three things: (1) Out of 100 vocabularies, there are 55 phonemic orm vocabularies. (3) From 100 vocabulary 51 phonemic vocabulary variations. (2) Out of 100 vocabularies, there are 100 terms which are basic vocabulary terms used for the purpose of saying something. It can be concluded that of the 100 vocabularies learned, only 51 vocabularies have word-forming phonemic variations. So, language variation is a language reality that must be recognized. Language variations must always be maintained by the community, he said. So that the language they use does not disappear with the times
