PRAKTIKALITAS BUKU KERJA KALKULUS I BERBASIS KONTRUKTIVISME DI PROGRAM STUDI PENDIDIKAN MATEMATIKA FKIP UMMY SOLOK

Problems that occur in the course Calculus I, largely students have not been able to do the questions were more varied. In addition, the student still can not understand the source books in working practice questions. In the resource book is only given sample questions with step process that is still elusive student. As a result, students become bored and tired of doing practice questions. To assist students in doing a lot of questions, so that students better understand the concept, of media is needed in the form of a workbook. The workbook is designed based on constructivism, which is forming a new understanding of the initial knowledge of students. The purpose of this study was to test the practicalities of Calculus I workbooks that have been validated by several mathematicians in the field of study Calculus. The Data of practicalities workbook was obtained from lectures and interviews with students. The results of observations of lectures with the workbook can save time, students can understand the material and do a lot of problems and achievement of learning goals. Results of interviews with student workbooks information obtained based constructivism Calculus I've been very practical in use.
