Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the perceptions of third grade students of UPTD SD Negeri 03 Guguak VIII Koto towards the use of snakes and ladders games in learning math in the 2021/2022 academic year. The purpose of this study is to describe how strong the relationship between gadget usage and mathematics learning outcomes of third grade students of UPTD SD Negeri 03 Guguak VIII Koto in the 2021/2022 academic year. This type of research is descriptive research. The sample in this study were third grade students of UPTD SD Negeri 03 Guguak VIII Koto in the 2021/2022 academic year, totaling 26 students. The instrument in this study is a questionnaire of students' perceptions of the use of snakes and ladders in learning mathematics. The results show that the perception of grade III students of UPTD SD Negeri 03 Guguak VIII Koto towards the use of snakes and ladders games in learning mathematics in the 2021/2022 academic year, namely 1) 73% of students have a positive perception of the use of snakes and ladders games in learning math, 2) 27% of students have a less positive perception of the use of snakes and ladders games in learning math.
