Abstract

This research was motivated by the fact that the existing books at school have not facilitated students in learning. The purpose of this research is to produce valid, practical and effective LKS. This type of research is development research (Research and Development), using ADDIE development (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, evaluation). The instruments used are questionnaires of material experts, media experts, and linguists, teacher responses, and student responses, lesson plan observation sheets, evaluation questions. The test subjects in the study were 20 students of class XII SMK Negeri 3 Solok City. LKS media development goes through five stages. The first stage of analysis, namely: curriculum analysis, textbook analysis and student character analysis. The second stage: Design, namely the preparation of the media framework, the presentation of systematic material, and the design of the initial draft of the media. The third stage of product manufacturing is the preparation of media based on linguistic aspects, and the preparation of media devices, revising products based on validation expert input. The fourth stage of product testing. The fifth stage is evaluation of the trial results. Based on data analysis, the average validation reached 89%. The average practicality reached 91%. The average effectiveness reached 88%. Based on these stages, it can be concluded that the LKS media is valid, practical and effective.
