PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS MAHASISWA MELALUI STRATEGI LEARNING CYCLE DISERTAI MIND MAPP PADA PERKULIAHAN KALKULUS II PROGRAM STUDI PENDIDIKAN MATEMATIKA FKIP UMMY SOLOK

This study aims to increase the activity of students taking Calculus II course using Learning Cycle (LC) Strategy with the Mind Map. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research (CAR), which has been implemented in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four steps, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection that will be used as a basis for improved planning in the next cycle. Data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Quantitatively derived from observation sheet student activities at each meeting. The qualitative data obtained by the data describing the percentage of student activity and supported by field notes and documentation. The results of the study concluded that by using LC strategy accompanied mind map can increase the activity of students in the lecture Calculus II FKIP UMMY Solok.
