Abstract

The Mathematical Statistics I course in the Padang State University Mathematics Study Program can be taken by students after studens have taken Calkulus I and Calculus II courses.  The purpose of this study was to examine the significance of the contribution of Calculus I and Calculus II learning outcomes to Mathematical Statistics I learning outcomes. The population in this study were all UNP Mathematics Study Program students and the sample was students majoring in mathematics Class of 2018 with a total sample of 42 people. The technique used to take samples in this study is using cluster sampling or taking samples in groups. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression using Excel. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant contribution between Calculus I learning outcomes and Calculus II learning outcomes towards Mathematical Statistics I learning outcomes.
