PENGGUNAAN HAND-OUT PADA MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK PAIR SHARE TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA PESERTA DIDIK KELAS VIISMP NEGERI 3 KOTA SOLOK

Abstract

Formulation of the problem in this research is “Is the students’ mathematic learning outcome by using hand out are better than without using hand out in cooperative learning think-pair-share type?”. Hypothesis in this research is the students learning outcome by using handout is better than without using hand-out in cooperative learning think-pair-share type atclass VIISMP Negeri 3 Kota Solok. This research is quasi experiment. The population in this research is the students of class VII SMP Negeri 3 Kota Solok who are registered on study year 2015/2016. Sample in this research is the class VII₁ as a experiment class that consist of 24 students and class VII₂ as a control class that consist of 23 students. technique of gathering data in this research is by using study outcome test that inclue by 6 item essay test. The data analysis of students learning outcome are found t_count = 1,74 and t_table = 1,6785, so that  so that hypothesis is accept in trust level 95%. It can conclude that the students’ learning outcome by using hand-outis better than without using hand-outon cooperative learning TPS type to class VII SMP Negeri 3 Kota Solok.
