Abstract

This research was motivated by the limitations of the existing learning package books and Student Activity Sheets (LKPD), but at present students are expected to be able to find their own learning concepts. Therefore, Contextual-based LKPD was developed in the Cartesian Coordinate material for eighth grade students of Solok City MTsN. This study aims to develop a Contextual LKPD based on Valid and Practical Cartesian Coordinate learning material. This research is a Research and Development (R & D) study that uses the ADDIE model. Validation is carried out by 4 validators, namely 2 material experts, 1 linguist and 1 media expert. All validators validated the questionnaire sheet, validated the LKPD, validated the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) and filled out the practical questionnaire of educators and students. Furthermore, the trial was carried out on the eighth grade students of Solok City MTsN. The collected data was analyzed descriptively. The validity of the LKPD produced both from the aspect of material content, presentation and language reaches very valid criteria with a value of 86% and practicality by educators with a value of 89% with very practical criteria and practicality of learners 87% with very practical criteria. The conclusion was produced by contextual based LKPD on the material of the Grade VIII Cartesius Coordinate of Solok City MTsN for students of class VIII MTsN Solok City with very valid criteria and very practical.
