Abstract

This research was motivated by the low mathematics learning outcomes of students in grade VI SDN 04 Sungai Talang. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of improvement in mathematics learning outcomes of Grade VI students of SDN 04 Sungai Talang 2017/2018 Academic Year through the application of the TGT cooperative learning model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), with four stages for each cycle, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research instruments were teacher observation sheets, student observation sheets, tests, and field notes. Data analysis techniques using percentage and descriptive techniques. After analyzing the data, it can be concluded that there is a reminder of the Mathematics learning outcomes of Grade VI students of SDN 04 Sungai Talang in the Even Semester 2017/2018 Academic Year through the Application of the Cooperative Type TGT Learning Model.
