PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA MELALUI METODE INKUIRI DI KELAS IV SDN 36 LUBUK PASING KECAMATAN BAYANG KABUPATEN PESISIR SELATAN
Implementation of learning in the first cycle is not successful well as learning activities involve all student groups are not yet active. Researchers still provide much guidance when students do activities, and students still have not dared to ask his opinion. For the study continued in the second cycle. Implementation of the second cycle of learning is already performing well. The activities in each stage has been implemented. Students have been able to find their own and are actively involved in learning. So learning is no longer a teacher centered, but student centered. Student learning outcomes using the inquiry method of learning mathematics in fourth grade have increased. It can be seen from the results of the assessment process using observation sheet and results of the evaluation at the end of each cycle. Where the evaluation of results seen an increase in the value of the average grade of 6 in the first cycle to 8.75 in the second cycle. In other words, an increase of mastery learning which was originally 56% in the first cycle increased to 87.5% in the second cycle. It can be concluded that the use of inquiry method can improve learning outcomes mathematics in fourth grade SDN 36 Lubuk Pasing District of Bayang South Coastal District.
