EFEKTIVITAS MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STUDENT FACILITATOR AND EXPLAINING (SFAE) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA

Factors affecting low yields mathematics learning include students 'interest and motivation is low, the lack of students' level of understanding of the concept of the content and learning activities are dominated by teachers. The learning model applied by teachers have not been able to improve student learning outcomes. It is this which is the cause of the decline in the mathematics learning. Formulation of the problem is Is Cooperative Learning Model application Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFAE) were effective against the results of students' mathematics learning. This type of research uses quasi experimental method with the study design used is One Group Pre-test Post-test Design. The population used is the junior class IX SMP QU cahaya alquran field lengths as well as a sample class for writers. Sampling is purposive sampling for class IX SMP QU cahaya alquran is problematic that the results of students' mathematics learning is low. To see whether there's t test effectiveness. Based on data obtained with a level of 95% obtained t = 1.86 and t (0.05: 22) = 1.72, the obtained t = 1.86> 1.72 = t (0.05: 22) then H_0 rejected. So it can be concluded that the application of the model of Cooperative Learning Facilitator and Explaining Student (SFAE) were effective against the results of students' mathematics learning with 45 points points increase in class IX SMP QU cahaya alquran Padangpanjang.
