Abstract

The problem examined in this research is whether there is a relationship between study habits and biology learning outcomes of students of class 2018 at UMMY Solok. A study with the title "The Relationship Between Study Habits with Biology Learning Outcomes of Class 2018 Students at UMMY Solok," which aims to find a picture of student learning habits and their relationship to biology learning outcomes of class 2018 students at UMMY Solok. This type of research is descriptive. The aim is to solve existing problems today, provide a general picture of the data obtained and draw conclusions from the results of data processing. The population of this study is the 2018 biology student at UMMY Solok. The sample chosen in this study was the 2018 biology student. Data were collected using a study habits questionnaire consisting of 25 items with a reliability coefficient of 0.947 and a biology learning outcomes test consisting of 8 items with a reliability coefficient of 1.277. The data obtained were processed using simple linear regression techniques. The linear regression equation obtained is Ŷ = 7.110 + 0.016X. Linear form can be accepted, the coefficient of regression direction does not mean at 95% confidence level because Fcount> Ftable (512.17> 4.15), the price of the determinant coefficient r2 = 6.7%. The results obtained are students' study habits are intermediate and the hypothesis is accepted meaning that there is a relationship between learning habits with biology learning outcomes of students of class 2018 at UMMY Solok at 95% confidence interval.
